A few words from the Captain ....

Last year was our 1st season in the National Volleyball League for NPC, as we competed in Division 3 Central. This year was a great lesson for us in both the organisational and Sporting perspective. We enjoyed much success in the first half of the season, and due to unforeseen circumstances, our performance dropped in the second half, and we finished up in 4th place. This year we have merged and have been embraced by Northampton Volleyball Club, and as this new club we are hungry for great games and to win promotion to the next level. We have a great squad with strength in depth, so I believe with have the ability to achieve our ambitions.

A few words from our coach:

After the successful merger of the Northampton Polish Crew and Northampton Volleyball Club, we find ourselves with an amazing squad of players representing Northampton in the National League Division 3 South East. Although commitments will not allow me to attend games, I will be coaching the Men’s team for this first National League season under the Northampton Name for over 20 years. I have already had 6 sessions with this squad, and it is quite clear that we have got the firepower and ability to really make an assault on this League. With a squad of 16-17 players, we have strength in depth to tackle those Division 3 Triangular fixtures, and step towards becoming a Division 2 side.
